Texoma Production Team
|
Matt Jenkins - Producer - Director - Writer
A year after his campy short picture Mirror Man was unceremoniously rejected from the Brooklyn Underground Film Festival, Matt received a sincere apology from the festival programmers asking if they could screen this epic. Realizing producing short movies and documentaries wasn’t enough, in 2010 Matt made the leap into independent features with the satirical Beaches, Buns and Bikinis. Texoma represents this continuation of a love for a good story and producing the best possible movie on a micro budget. Jenkins is known for his independent and minimalist approach to movie-making. Charles Stanley - Director
Charles’ cinematic skills are easily evident in his production, the award winning “Epiphany.” A distinctive style particular to his craft makes Charles’ work desirable. He served as Director of Photography on the award winning short movie “Banished Misfortune,” the award-winning documentary Pray’s Passion, the strikingly recorded documentary You Bet We’re Going Back to Sea – The S.S. John W. Brown and the award winning fictional work The Last Dive. Charles marked his Directorial debut with the release of WDC, LLC's first feature length movie Beaches, Buns, and Bikinis starring Ron Jeremy. Taking his craft as a Director to a new level, Charles wrote and directed the five part web comedy “The Front Desk.” Charles encourages discussion and nurtures passion for independent production through 3AM Films and its website. Dan Perrin - Director of Organic Construction, Producer
Dan likes to build stuff. It doesn’t matter what it is, he will build something out of it. So he gets to build any props the movie needs. In Beaches, Buns and Bikinis Dan built the crab shack. He designed it so it could be taken down each night and put up again each morning. We can’t wait to show you what Dan is building for the movie Texoma. Hurry up Dan and finish it! Dan also acts. He discovered his thespian abilities when he started acting in short movies being produced in Houston, Texas. We think he likes the notoriety as he discovered when he was ordering from a drive through window at a Baytown, Texas Jack in the Box and someone inside yells at him “Hey aren’t you that guy that made the movie with Ron Jeremy?" Victoria Jenkins - Cole – Director of Musical Procurement
Victoria Jenkins started acting when she was twelve. She starred as Secret Agent 12 and a ½, keeping the world safe for hip-hop in the short movie Houston. The film review web site Candy for Bad Children remarked Victoria was the “best thing about the movie.” The Bare Bones Film Festival recognized Victoria’s acting by nominating her for the Best Rising Star Youth Actor award. Also, Victoria received a nomination for Best Actress in a Feature from the Bare Bones Film Festival for her portrayal of Sarah in The Secret of Sarah Pennington. Now Victoria’s art, her writing, and her acclaimed photography take center stage. She is excited to begin working on animation projects. Ann Morris - Graphic Designer
