Dan's Return to Acting

1/24/2017

Amusement Film’s fearless leader Pat Bishow once remarked Dan Perrin was one of his “favorite actors.” (I swear, I’m not making this up.)

Early on after considering following in the family tradition of politics, Dan ends up working at the refineries and chemical plants in Baytown, Texas.  It’s here among the petrol fumes and plastic gas releases Dan develops his thespian prowess.

Dan seeks out and takes on challenging roles in such Texas made short films as “Houston” (Where, I might add, Pat Bishow plays the role of the President of the United States in a mighty fine performance) and “Maximum Credibility.”  Dan’s crowning achievement comes with the 2010 epic motion picture “Beaches, Buns and Bikinis.”  He stars with American acting icon Ron Jeremy.  Dan relishes the success and recognition this portrayal brings.  It becomes difficult for him to grab a burger at a Jack in the Box without being recognized.

However it’s another 6 years before audiences will have an opportunity to savor Dan’s acting.  His triumphant return to the big screen is happening with the new feature “Texoma”.  Dan plays the easy going rancher Clint Forest.
